This beach with fine sand in front of the ruins of Empúries, is noted for the quality of its waters, by having pine trees that reach the water’s edge and the stretch of sand that connects the beach with the rocks offshore. There are two distinct parts of the beach, known as Muscleres Grans and Muscleres Petites. The Greek and Roman ruins add to the interest of the seabed in the area. An ideal place for snorkelling.

The beach can be reached from the footpath that runs between l’Escala and Sant Martí d’Empúries.
